Beyond the Boundaries
When the Fleetwood Bounder was created 28 years ago by John C. Crean, founder of Fleetwood, it broke new ground in the RV industry. The development of the Bounder was driven by Crean's desire to design a motorhome with an enclosed water system in which the tanks and pipes were insulated and heated to prevent freezing. The result was a motorhome with a raised floor that forever changed the way RVs were made.
Today, the Bounder is an ideal companion for RVers of all types, from vacationing families to full-time adventurers. With numerous popular floor plans to choose from, the Bounder offers owners an array of choices when it comes to the layout of their motorhome. The Bounder provides three floor plan options, the 33C, 35K and 36E, while the Bounder Classic offers five distinct floor plans, the 30T, 34M, 34B, 36R and 36H.
The popularity of the Bounder continues to soar, with 2012 sales increasing 35.4% over 2011, dramatically outpacing the market's Class A Gas retail sales increase of 9.7%. This pioneering model remains Fleetwood RV's number-one-selling brand today.
As much a visionary as Crean was, even he may not have envisioned just how advanced the Bounder would become with features like 40" LCD TVs with home theater sound system and electronic fireplaces. The Bounder retains the innovative, adventurous spirit in which it was first designed and continues to be an ideal companion on the road.
