Fleetwood Celebrates 15th Anniversary of Circle of Excellence Award

Fleetwood RV, a leading producer of recreational vehicles, today announced the highlights from its 2006 Circle of Excellence award ceremony, which was held on Monday, August 28 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV.

2006 marked the 15th anniversary of Fleetwood’s Circle of Excellence awards—a special milestone that was reflected throughout the entire evening ceremony. Since 1991, Fleetwood has given the Circle of Excellence award to dealers who receive positive Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores from at least 93.5% of their customers surveyed.

“We developed the Circle of Excellence award to honor dealers who exemplify outstanding customer satisfaction,” said Chris Braun, Executive Vice President of Fleetwood’s RV Group. “In fact, this year we called special attention to three of our dealers because they not only won all 15 years, but they have also received 100% customer satisfaction scores all 15 years.”

To honor this special accomplishment, the three dealers—D&M Travel Trailers from Medway, ME; Jack’s RV Sales from Tremonton, UT; and Stewart’s RV from Saint Clairsville, OH—were featured in the ceremony’s Academy Award-esque introductory video, and were specially recognized by Braun at the end of the main awards presentation.

Immediately following the award presentation, Elden Smith, President and CEO of Fleetwood Enterprises, led the audience through Fleetwood’s historical timeline from 1950 - 2006. In addition, as Smith called out a specific year he asked everyone who had joined the Fleetwood family in that year to stand up, crack a glow stick and hold it up. When he reached 2006, the entire 900+ member audience was on its feet and cheering. A visibly moved Smith then thanked everyone in the room for their dedication to superior customer service and to Fleetwood through the years.
