announced two promotions in the American Coach and Fleetwood Sales Divisions.

Lenny Razo, a longtime member of the Fleetwood and American Coach Sales Division, has recently been promoted to the position of vice-president of sales for both Fleetwood RV and the American Coach Division. Razo has an outstanding history with the company, where he has worked in all facets of the sales organization. During his tenure, he has established long-lasting and trusted relationships with dealers. Razo will report directly to Jim Jacobs, president of Allied Recreation Group.

In his role, Razo will manage American Coach sales directly, and oversee the Fleetwood division sales efforts, working with Matt Buckman. Razo will play a pivotal role in product development, and strategic planning.

Internally and externally, Lenny has earned the trust and respect of his peers. He demonstrates a vast working knowledge of the company and industry. Lenny embodies the qualities needed for this position and will serve Allied Recreation Group well in this new role,” said Jacobs.

As a native of Decatur, Razo returned to his hometown upon graduating from Purdue University, to take the position of sales coordinator at Fleetwood, now home to Allied Recreation Group corporate facilities. Lenny and his wife, Anne, are active members of community. “Being a part of the continuous growth of the Decatur-community and our company is important to me and my family,” said Razo. His passion for the recreational industry and his community is evident by his ties to his roots and dedication to support area growth and accomplishment.

Razo added, “I appreciate this opportunity and am excited about the direction Jim’s leadership is taking us. We have a great team in place. I am looking forward to my new role with ARG and playing a larger role in the overall future of the company. From collaboration with product design and engineering, to the strategic planning and our aggressive approach to pricing and market speed, we are in a prime position to see swift and continued successes.”

Matt Buckman, director of Fleetwood RV gas sales, has been promoted to director of sales for all Fleetwood RV products [gas and diesel]. Buckman will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, training, and dealership support for Class C, Class A Gas and Class A Diesel Fleetwood products.

“Matt has a long and successful history in the industry,” said Jacobs. “He has a strong understanding of sales and building dealer relationships. Under Matt’s leadership, Fleetwood has seen many positive steps in the gas sector of the business. With his new role, he will have the ability to invest his strengths in the diesel segment, as well, where I am confident he will continue to perform at a high level.”

Buckman, who first began his career with Fleetwood in 1997, has been active in the RV industry for more than 18 years. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico; although, he and his wife, Barb, now call Granger, Ind. home. His experience and skills in sales have put him on a solid upward career path, each step providing him with progressively more responsibility and greater duties. He will support Razo in carrying out sales activities and strategies.

“With a number of exciting initiatives already in place, these have become fast moving times at Fleetwood. The September Open House at the Hall of Fame and the Louisville Show in December promise to be the most exciting events in our company history,” Buckman stated. “I am looking forward to working with the sales groups and our dealer partners as we plan for the future state of Fleetwood.”
